COVID-19 RESPONSE

Dear Ashford Saints,

GOOD NEWS! We plan to open live services on Sunday mornings beginning August 30th at 11am. Because this is the 2nd part of phasing back into Sunday services, we will accommodate only 200 people. Children are welcomed in service with their parents. Children’s Ministry on site will not commence until Phase 3.(See the website for Kingdom Kids video presentations)

We have had a number of “dress rehearsals“ getting ready to receive you back. During this time we have committed our resources to develop both live stream technology and re-entry protocols for your benefit. We are excited to reconnect with our Ashford family in the Father’s House believing for an amazing encounter with Him!

We recommend that you refrain from hugs and handshakes being sensitive to one another’s personal space. By all means ask permission before any bodily contact, being aware that each of us will have unique concerns and feelings about what is safe! Maintaining the 6 foot social distancing is recommended and will be posted throughout the facility. The wearing of face masks by our ushers and greeters will be observed as they serve you. Your wearing of a face mask is of personal choice. We have thoughtfully arranged the safest plan for seating with attention to various family size configurations.

We will continue to watch developments of this virus and what we are learning from our governor, medical relationships and other churches. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation and patience as we travel this new road while navigating unprecedented times.

We will continually be seeking the Lord about issues of fully regathering while being sensitive to the spread of the disease and diverse concerns being experienced.

Saints, as has been stated before please be sensitive to differing views about the managing of stay at home orders and reopening. Don’t allow differing perspectives be a dividing point between us or between the many congregations of Kingdom City and beyond. Our John 17 mandate is still the rule of the day. In Christ we are to become one and that causes us to live in honor and respect of each other as brothers and sisters in the Father’s family. God alone knows the real truths about this virus including the spiritual, emotional, mental, material and physical influences effected. Holding our opinions and perspectives with grace and humility will maintain the bond of peace and love. The greatest gift we can give to one another and the world right now, is love!

Ashford can’t wait to see you face to face with hearts and hands uplifted in worship by His Grace.

Holding on to Joy and Peace,

Senior Pastor John Parks
